Interventional Radiologist - 6 month locum
Department of Radiology, St Boniface General Hospital
The department is currently seeking a fellowship trained interventional radiologist who is Royal College certified in Diagnostic Radiology. The position is for a 6 month locum from October 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
The position will be 40% interventional and 60% diagnostic radiology (Xray, US, CT/CTA, MRA) as the department is already supported by a full time interventional radiologist. Mammography or MRI is not a requirement.
Call responsbility is only for Interventional radiology but is a citywide service with 1:5 call pool.
As St. Boniface is an academic site, the candidate may be asked to contribute to the residency program in the form of teaching.
St. Boniface General Hospital , with over 500 beds, is a tertiary health care facility affiliated with the University of Manitoba. It is the Cardiothoracic centre of Manitoba.
The angiography suite in our department is busy providing a variety of services (PAD, dialysis/vascular access, embolization, ablation) . We have a dedicated day for TEVARs and EVARs and work closely with the Vascular and Cardiac Surgery departments.
Manitoba Xray Clinic (MXC) is a highly cohesive and collegial group of 25 radiologists.
