The department of Diagnostic Imaging is taking applications for a general radiologist position at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. This regional hospital is the referral center for the East Kootenay catchment area: from Golden in the north to Creston in the south, and to Fernie/ Sparwood in the east.
This general practice position includes all modalities with a variety of non-vascular interventional procedures. while we currently have limited mobile MRI access, a permanent fixed Magnet will be in place in early/mid 2018. The 4 person team is collegial and looking forward to introducing a new colleague to this amazing region during the summer of 2017. Plans for a 5th team member are also underway.
Candidates should be FRCPC certified or qualified to sit the Canadian Radiology Fellowship examinations.
