Candidates can expect to find state-of-the-art facilities and a refreshed department with full PACS and recent or ongoing purchases of new ultrasound machines, a  new CT scanner, new Nuclear Medicine SPECT/CT, new mammography unit with tomosynthesis, and a 1.5T MRI. On call diagnostic imaging interpretation is covered by a teleradiology group. CKHA is also affiliated with Western University’s Distributed Education Network. The hospital has a strong relationship with referral hospitals in London and Windsor Ontario.

Job Description

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is accepting applications for a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join the existing group of radiologists.

Candidates should be comfortable with a broad range of skills including ability to interpret CT, MRI, US, fluoroscopy, x-ray, BMD and mammography. Non-vascular interventional experience, particularly with regards to biopsies and percutaneous catheter insertion is highly desirable. Additional fellowship training or experience in cardiothoracic imaging or breast imaging is an asset but not required. Candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal & collaborative skills, be dedicated to excellence in patient care, and be a strong team player. Canadian Royal College Certification and registration with the College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is required.  We will consider candidates willing to do additional training.
