The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is recruiting a Full time General Radiologist to join a group of five radiologists in the Department of Medical Imaging at Stratford General Hospital.
The successful candidate will have training in and be expected to report all modalities of Diagnostic Radiology including x-ray, fluoroscopy, US, CT and MRI. The individual will work collaboratively as a member of the imaging team and have a strong commitment to patient care. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
We are seeking candidates with sub-specialty expertise and experience in MRI and MSK imaging in addition to broad experience in general radiology. Experience in minor non-vascular interventions such as drain insertions, biopsies and joint injections are highly desirable. Breast imaging experience including procedures is an asset.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest and/or experience in leadership positions.
Onsite radiologists work 4 days/week and limited weekend daytime hours. Services for all HPHA sites are reported from the Stratford site with no travel required. After hours call coverage is currently covered by a remove on-call service.
FRCPC in Diagnostic Radiology is required. Must be eligible for CPSO licensure in Ontario.
Position to commence in January 2019 or shortly thereafter.
